  • Lilliput gets dimmer when it's cold???

Has anyone noticed their Lilliput getting dimmer when it's been cold soaking in the garage overnite?...... or is it just my imagination? Does this type of LCD have a sensitivity to cold?

Almost all LCDs do. The cold cathode light that provides backlighting needs to warm up before it reaches full brightness. Incidentally, remember to let your unit warm up a bit before turning it on. Most cold cathodes have a "half life" of sorts. When fired up cold like that, it cuts their useful service life effectively in half in a very few uses.
