  • New to board like to say Hi and a Question

HI how are things , I am in the process of installing a mobile computing system in my truck I will be doing a custom dash and all and will post pics as I go along. has anyone tried using a laptop tft monitor as a screen , yes I know they are digital and rgb is analog but there are a few companies who make convertors I was wondering if any of you have used one.

    Thanks

yes there are a lot of people that use them. The tricky part is finding a controller that'll run the lcd. The controller can cost at least $250.

I was wanting to use at least a 12.1 I have been looking at a few analog tft lcd monitors but none have the resolution and brightness and contrast I want.
