  • 8in VGA screen from Lilliput

Electronicar (who I bought my 7in widescreen Lilliput touchscreen from) is now selling Lilliput 8in VGA Toucscreen. They appear to be DVI input and are 4:3 ratio

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=14946

Judging by the description they have 921600 pixels which is 640xRGBx480 native res. I guess since the description says 1024x768 that they can scale to that if necessary.

Any of you guys know any more???

Yeah, its a cut paste error I think Electronicar has used his 7in lilliput screen page layout as the basis.

If you look the extras are the same as the 7in widescreen i.e the video cable piccy has a 15pin D-connector yet the 8in screen has a DVI connector

I ordered these from Lilliput to try out. They will ship them right after the Chinese New Year (Feb. 5th). The LCD panel is Hitachi 800x600 but they wouldn't tell me the model # after I asked twice. I guess I'll have to wait to take it apart when I get them. Hopefully it will have fewer bugs then the 7".

i'm sticking with the 7" becuase it fits in the indash enclosures. (tm-701L) if there was some sort of in dash enclosure for this screen, then i would probably splurge and get it and get the enclosure.. but i dont think there is such a thing yet. but looks good none-the-less

Now why doesn't that surprise me. Armen
The panel you say is 800x600 yet the pixel count according to electronicar is supposedly 921600 i.e 640xRGBx480

It is very difficult getting correct information. Sometimes I will write an email to them and when I get a reply it seem like he only read my first sentence I have to deal with this all the time

I'd be inclined to believe you though

Plus I'd expect alot of people on here would hope that its at least 800x600.

Now when's that flip out dash mod gonna be done then
