  • Xenarc Touchscreen Installed

Just finished installing my Xenarc touch screen.

I'll be installing an antlon XP 2000+ and Abit MK79G-N motherboard to power it as soon as my OPUS arrives.

Check out the install details here:

I just stuck my laptop in there to demo it. Its powered by the cigarette lighter adaptor the xenarc came with until I directly wire it to the battery.

          Nice install

Its the newer model xenarc and it has brightness control and I only have it turned up to 75% and it seems bright enough. I don't have the full computer installed though, so I havent really road tested it fully, but I have tested it with it on during the day and it was definitly bright enough then.

I highly recommend the xenarc. I paid $400 for mine in a group buy and its well worth it.

Considering the thread is nearly two years old and he's got a lengthy post in the Show Off Your Project forum, I'd say he has finished it.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
