The images very clearly show where everything goes. If you can't figure it out from that then you probably shouldn't be doing it.

      DAMN

A little harsh there bud. I understand people without the knowledge probably shouldn't start on hard stuff but no need to be so brutal about it.

      Perhaps try decaf?

            I don't think it's harsh at all.
The thread lays out the instructions pretty clearly with diagrams and photos. It's as close to what was requested ("a step by step guide about how soldering each component") as could be without being condescending.

Based on those instructions, anyone who has some skill using a soldering iron can make the mods in the referenced thread...
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
            How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Cant really get any simpler than that, the diagram does explain it all. In fact its easier to understand than step-by-step guide text.

I agree that post #2 could have been put in a much nicer way...not every one is expert in electronics here. We are all a noob at one point, no one is born with a soldering iron on his/her hand

I don't know how I can help you on this, because the drawing and the result is very straight forward.
                From this circuit

                To this result

Now if you turn the result image 180 degrees, each component is place exactly where they are on the drawing.
