    just got my screen....

    Did any of you guys get a power pack with it?

    What about instructions fortaking it apart so it can be installed where HU used to go?

    Tried a power pack thats suitable (afterchecking website)and has correct adapter but screen wont power up....

    any ideas???

    Did you already do that?If you did then might have screwed something up.

        No didn't take it apart!!

        just paid $500 for it.... not gonna rip it to pieces straight away!!

          You shouldn't have to take it apart to put it in the dash. But as far as adapters go, you need something that outputs 12VDC, at least 500mA.

                As far as I've read on this forum, Armen can be a bit slow to respond, but he means well and does the best he can (one man shop).

                Keep trying to contact him...

                    You take your dash apart and mount the complete display unit to the vehicle. There are screw holes on the side of the case that correspond to the holes in DIN mounting spaces.

                      Be careful though! You can only put the screws in so far until you interfere with the screen so use small (in length) screws and test it for clearance.

                              I just used the supplied power adapter (which was US style plug) and used a UK converter and all works fine. If you didnt get the power adapter you need one that gives out 12V DC and 1200mA as thats what I got and works fine.
