  • Fried my Digital WW board....

    SUPER.

I guess I'm out another 365 dollars since I don't see just the board on the site anywhere. Either that or I'm just gonna buy a different monitor and get the 50$usb touch kit interface to use with the new monitor....not sure what to do.

suggestions?? Feel free to laugh at my dumb ***.

What board? The TS Controller board or the VGA controller board?
CarPC install is starting to come along again...

          VGA.

I know I can get the touch screen board for 50 off the site.

Nah, I think it's a little more severe than that. I shorted it out when it touched something else and it went POOF.

We're in the same boat man, except mine didn't die like that My ribbon cable connector had so much force on it and I've strained it messing around with it that it finally came off of the circuit board, and I couldn't resolder it =\

Btw: I PM'd Armen a day or two ago and still haven't gotten a response, but I'm pretty sure the VGA controller board is $150...ouch!

I just talked to him and I just sent a pm today. He told me to ship it back and he would see what he could do.

Great customer service in my book.

really now? So you're saying I can short pins on the VGA controller chip or the MCU or something like that and all it would do is blow a fuse or regulator? I don't believe you, and I'm not willing to try it

So wait, I sent Armen an email and a PM I think a day or two ago and he's responded to you since then?
