Not really... I haven't seen the T-View or Innovatek ones that have the same specs as the new Dynamix ones. The old Dynamix models are the same, but the new ones are definitely improved so the guts must be different, just the casing is the same but with a different logo.

For example, the new Dynamix 706 has a Brightness Rating of 400cd/mē where all of the other 7" models have 250 (other than the more expensive ones like Lilliput and Xenarc)

if you are looking at ebay postings of dynamix screens, i would NOT take the listed specs as being 100 percent fact. Some of the listings i have seen were a listing of the 805 (an 8" 4:3 screen ) under the title of the 706 (7" widescreen)
if they can make such large mistakes in even listing the correct model numbers, how can you be sure the specs are right? i would get a Tview or a linITX from a more reputable seller.
      System: AMD Duron 1200+ , 512 MB ram , usb sb mp3+ , Tview 7" touchscreen , M1-ATX PSU , Slot Load iMac DVD-Rom , 40 GB laptop HDD, netgear USB 802.11g

Progress: Installation: 90% Dash fabrication: 80%

      Parts Needed: USB GPS
