  • Help! Lilliput connector damaged

The hitachi circuit board on the screen part. Which contains the 40 pin connector which the ribbon goes into is damaged. One of the pins is snapped off. I need to replace that little board. I've tried contacting Lilliput but no luck. Does anyone have any info in the meantime?

Looking at the back of the Lillput, opened up. The black connector is sideways with the opening to the left. From the bottom, it is the 10th pin up.

I've tried reseating it. Nothing. I know it's hard to seat, and I've had experience reseating it in the past. This time no matter what it just will not work. Do you think that 10th pin is important?

Yeah, I tried to seat it for like 2 hours. I even tried a new ribbon. In the past, I've never had too much trouble getting it to seat, maybe like 10 minutes of tinkering. Strange, huh. I'm not sure what to do.
