  • Lilliput Blown Up / damaged need help

    Hi Everyone.
i had a 7" lilliput touch screen fitted in my car but it fell out of the dash as i set off.
i didnt think anything to this but then when i tried powering up the screen the next day it just doesnt do anything.
the red light on the front pannle does not light up when plugged in.

i was wanting to know if anybody else has had a similar problem with there screens.

i think its just the screen or a cable as when i plug in the usb to a spare computer it sees the screen and want drivers for it.

Any Help and i would be greatful otherwise its off to lilliputuk.com for repair

    Thanks Everyone

            lol

m8 is an english term for mate.

And that means friend or bud and not your fuk***** kind of mate

1A is the rating of the fuse, meaning 1 amp, you MUST replace it with the same value

what about the letters? and also what kind of fuse? does anyone know where i can get the same one. i have gone to digikey but too many different kinds. it looks like a SMD fuse. i have a pic of it? i don't know if it's a fast or slow acting.

it is a fast acting SMD fuse, digikey has them, and I believe Armen from Digitalww has them as well.

but like some others I just soldered a regular fuse holder to the existing pads, that way I can use standard fuses instead of having to buy the darn SMD fuses
