Arby, or anyone else, I have the Timeline 40x4 backlit LCD and I'm using the polarizing film from www.polarization.com. I rotated the film until it was a very dark purple and then I cut a piece and placed it in the LCD. I am using a 2 ohm resistor for the backlight because I couldn't find a potentiometer. When I turn on the LCD at night, the yellow text is very bright, but the background is a light brown behind it instead of black. Is this because I did not rotate the film correctly or could it be because I have the backlight turned up to its max brightness? Any help is appreciated.
