  • Help with wires

Can someone help with these wires please so I get it correct...

I bought this unit from Ebay it is the motorised unit which is going around with built in tv tuner.

    In the instructions it says..

Black line is connect with GND
Red line is connect with Control switch for lighting
Green line is connect with control for backing or GND
Yellow line is connect with + battery.

Ok obviously black is Ground or -. Yellow is positive or +

What are the other 2 for ? Which one goes to the ignition ?

    Cheers

Switched = ACC. You need to find an "accessory" line in the car, probably so that the thing turns on only when the car is on.

Green is for reverse... I think the only way to get this is either hooking it up to the reverse lights (assuming that the thing has an auto-switch mode when you get in reverse, for a backup camera). If you can't get to that, then you just ground it.

At least that's what I've seen from the other similar units discussed here.

So I can just wire this one to the ignition then ?

The constant live will be to keep the clock working
