  • What is the best LCD

I would like to know the best lcd for about $250, that would be good for video, but also good for reading text like in winamp playlist.

    Thanks,

I am still debating on what to get. I have $250 and I want to get a screen that when I put winamps playlist on, I can actually read the words. And if I download music videos, they are pretty clean. Well if anyone has any comments or suggestions please help.

    Thanks,

    Jack Mode

Does this have a high enough resolution to read the playlist?

          Thanks,

Most TFT LCDs have the same resolution. I have a 6.8" and can read it fine from about 20 feet. It really depends on the size of LCD. For viewing Winamp and movies I would stick to a 5" or larger.

Today I found a place that sells the Pryme LCD's at a good price. www.tundraelectronics.com . They want just under $400 for the cased 6.8", not just a raw screen. Only problem is the guy only does PayPal or MO. I had problems with PayPal so I don't use them anymore. Also, he's got no type of warranty except what's supplied by the manufacturer so if you get a bad one shipped to you you're screwed.
