  • Lilliput 7" Touchscreen Damaged??

    Hey guys,

I have a Lilliput 7" Touchscreen (Not sure of the exact model number just yet) but whilst moving my carputer from one totalled car, to my new one, i managed to completely screw my screen.

When i look at it the screen is scratched and damaged, but the touchscreen works perfectly,

I think i read somewhere that there is a "layer or film" over the actual screen which makes the touchscreen work? in which case, can i just buy a new "layer/film" and replace this.

The touchscreen works brilliantly and the damage doesnt look like it has affected the use of the screen, its just the viewing of the screen is difficult in the scratched / scuffed area...

Any ideas? (I have searched but cannot find the exact info)

    Thanks

    Drew

Okay no worries, is your a touchscreen? if so would be interested in doing some business for the complete touchscreen panel (as long as it is 7")

          Thanks

                  Hey,

I've thought about it, and i think im gonna go for a motorised screen, are you interested in my 7" screen. My touchscreen panel has gone, and ive removed it so easily, i'm just thinking if you wanted to buy it, you could then fit your touchscreen panel and job done...??

Need to get some funds for the new screen. (unless i can find someone who can fabricate a 96 Renault Megane dash to incorporate the screen lol...

Let me know if you want to buy it, +44 (0) 7979 424627

I have a question which is the opposite. I ordered a touch panel and the glass panel arrived cracked.. The film is still in tact. Is there a way to remove the film and put it on a new piece of glass? Will this work?

                      Hi,

If you ordered it brand new then i would contact them and return it for a new one, must be a poor way of packing it ready for shipping on their part. I wouldnt mess with it, even if it delays a project by a week...
