i powered my amp up into this new car.. when i put power thru the sub the amp stops sending sound until i lower the volume and then it resumes pushing the sub at the lower volume... anything i can trouble shoot?

I got nothing. Possibly some type of overload protection on the amp? Does a red led come on the amp when the audio goes out?

Maybe some more info. Stock Stereo? what kind of amp. How is everythintg wired? Maybe check your ground connection on the amp. sometimes amps will cut out if there is bad ground.
Um, I guess this is where you put something witty.WITTY
