Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

Read the reply more carefully. The MP3car.com store sells carputer components & systems... oh forget it. Do some more reading!

SMOKEY!! SMOKEY YOU GOT KNOCKED THE F OUT!!!

JK. But it is kinda funny (and perplexing) that you riddled the link with bathtubs!

Dude, in all honesty though, you gotta work on being more specific and trying to ask a little better questions. Also, have you been to the FAQ emporium?

what are some of the best hard drives to use in cars? i drive crazy and i know hard drives don't like bumps and all that but is kinda hard not to feel it win you have your car setup like a race car. i mean you really feel the road. i plan on making it a 11 sec car and i just want to make sure i get some that can take some shock.

hitachi automotive drives or solid state drives. You pay a hefty sum for them.

                        Well automotive hard drives:

THREAD (found by searching "hitachi automotive drive"): http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...tomotive+drive

                        BUY 1: http://froogle.google.com/froogle?cl...72&lnk=catsugg

                        Solid State:
THREAD: (Found by searching for "solid state drive"): http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...d+state+drives

                        BUY: http://www.geekstuff4u.com/product_i...roducts_id=492

And probably you are having a hard time finding the J4K50 because 50Gb drives aren't commonly sold. The 30Gb and 40Gb drives will be much easier to find as the link above shows.

And just so you know, the automotive harddrives and solid state drives are overkill. Just because you drive like a maniac, doesn't mean that there will be a problem. Regular laptop drives will fair just fine. And you can buy 4 replacements for the price of one of the others.

thats wired i found more info on 3.5 wd drives about shocks and hits than i did on any 2.5 drive thats why i was kinda asking i thought a laptop drive would take hits better. so is there any better than others in normal 2.5 or 3.5 drives? most of the drives i use on the network are segate and have never had a problem gone throw tons of wd and Maxtor. who makes better boards these days asus or msi or foxconn or dfi? i always have a problem finding a board i love both company's and for my carpc i want the best board there is in micro atx. sad thing is even if it was full atx i would probably still have the same problem.
