  • Visteon HD Radio and December Binary problem.

This is my first car pc. I have installed the system and am in the process of “debugging” certain issues. I tried to figure out everything so I wasn’t asking stupid questions but I am stuck.

    Hardware:
    Via EPIA-M1000
    1Gig memory
    60Gig Laptop HD
    Wireless, USB Bluetooth
Visteon HD Radio, Mitch’s interface cable
    M2-ATX power supply
    Lilliput 7” touchscreen

    Problems:
Everything worked fine until I tried the radio. The HD Radio screen I made would show up as a bar in the middle of the screen. . I updated Roadrunner to the December binaries and the latest DLL from Mitch. Radio works great with Mitch’s software so I know the unit and control cable work. I installed a working skin with HD radio screen but when it loads it only shows a bar in the middle of the screen. I also made the rr.ini settings. Any suggestions are welcome.

Also: The GPS button on my main screen doesn’t open Mappoint or the screen, does nothing at all since I updated the binaries.

I uninstalled roadrunner and reinstalled it using the installer. Updated the HD Radio DLL from Mitch and now everything is up and running perfect.

I still have the issue with the GPS button on the main page, of 3 skins that I tried, that will not open Mappoint 2006. It can be setup as external or internal.
