  • Sound Card wired to car speakersq

What is the cheapest and most effective way to wire up Car Stereo speakers to the sound card. Obviously the speakers do not come with the proper plugs. Where would I go shopping for these plugs?

you just need a male 1/8" stereo plug -to- male RCA adapter. you can make them yourself from existing cables or you can buy them pre-made (there are no electronics involved, so the adapters are very cheap).

depending on your sound card and how you want to configure your audio settings; you can run a 4.1 surround setup or use a Y-adapter to split the soundcard's 2 front channels into into 4 channels.
