  • Quick Question

just wondering... at the moment im in the process of making my carputer... i just bought a M2-ATX power supply, itll be here middle of next week... but at the moment im just using at normal PC power supply in order to set everything up..
with the harddrive i noticed it used two cables.. the ribon thing and another cable with 4 holes used for power. once i get the M2-ATX how do i power the harddrive?
thanks in advance.. any help wouldbe great

M2-ATX comes with the necessities to power your HDD.

Sounds to me like your computer knowledge is almost non-existent. You definitely need to do some research and reading. No hard feelings and don't take offense, just being honest.

Good luck to you and your install.

Heh, I'm just the opposite. My buddy's tweeters went out in his car yesterday and he comes to me like I'm some kind of guru. I've put a PC in there, that doesn't mean I know jack about car stereos. Short of checking the fuses on the amp, I'm pretty much at a loss.

Yeah, I found a lot of those too. How the hell do people expect one to buy their product when ya can't even see wtf it is... I dunno.

Anyway, I've had the M2 for some time now, I think you'll like it. I blew one up on accident one day, soldered a resistor wrong to try and correct the power-on timing issue I was having with a Jetway C7 mobo. Other than that, zero problems!
