  • Lilliput powers off completly

Just a quick question, i have a lilliput screen and its hooked up to the carnetix 2140.

but everytime i cut ignition and the computer turns off, when i turn it back on some time later i have to press the 'power' button on the screens remote (the button is hidden by the dash) because it does not come on automatically.

What is the correct way to set it up? is it a settings issue or should i hard wire the screen to my auxillary battery, so it goes into stand by and doesnt have power completly cut?

    thanks in advance.

Hook it up to a constant voltage source. Then when no signal it will go into a standby mode and awake automatically.

There is a hack through a menu prompt as well, but doesnt work on many models, and is a pain to do.

i have an auxillary battery so its not a huge concern really, but will having it sit in standby for a period of time flatten the battery eventually???

the reason i ask is i had it hooked up to my main battery to do what u suggested, and when i didnt drive for almost a week, the battery went flat?
