  • Pickegg's $78 Google Android tablet PC, is this deal as good as it looks?

    I found this while looking:
A $78 Google Android 2.2 tablet PC on the "Clearance" page of Pickegg.com, no freight cost also, you can search it by yourself to see the details. Which really looks a very good deal, I want to know is that as good of a deal as it looks like it is? Any other suggestions?

you get what you pay for, just don't expect it to be an ipad or acer/asus tablet etc..

You get what you pay for no longer applies. The chinese are starting to use the same components the name brand companies are using in the factory next door. Their software/programming skills generally suck though.

evidently the people at Slatedroid.com or techknow have been hacking it. found it in the comments...

found that site a few days ago. like their prices for the hu just like what eonon sells.

Stay away from the Pandigitals. They have a very long start up time. There touch screens are very non responsive(you have to touch down hard & multiple times) and there is a lot of lag. They are about $150 bucks new but you get what you pay for. READ REVIEWS of them before you buy. If there are no reviews they are usually cheap knock offs.
