I am very happy with this monitor http://store.mp3car.com/Lilliput_669..._p/mon-123.htm for the money. The touch is much more accurate with the 5 wire vs 4 wire. The brightness is good I have in my dash of my truck, it is a bit recessed so it's sort of sheltered from the sun but readable in sunlight somewhat. I think you need to spend quite abit more for a true sunlight readable. Good luck SNO

Go for the middle one it has a much higher brightness level at 450nits and 5 wire touch which makes a world of difference vs. 4 wire. Good luck SNO

                            Thanks SNO. :-)

Draco, give DriveLine a shot. Nothing to lose, right? It's free. There isn't even an installer. Just unzip the app where you want, and run it. It's open source, and it works pretty well.

It seems like there are only 3 or 4 front-ends left in active development. So DriveLine has at least a 25% chance of being the one for you.
