with power you get size. I'm running a duron 800mhz and I want to go with a epia which is less power but a smaller footprint. As long as it'll run dvd fine I'm happy

yea im using a AMD duron 1.3 ghz on a biostar mvig-pro mobo with 256 pc2700 ddr corsair (it was cheap lol) and a seagate barracudda IV 40giger lying around in an aluminum case and it has only overheated a couple times (my car sits in the FL sun all day) but the mobo shuts the comp down when core temps reach 75C

                      P4 2.4Ghz
                      512 DDR
                      Audigy 2
                      Ati Radeon DDR

I play a few games on it: NFS Hot Pursuit 2, GTA Vice City, and Monopoly 3 are loaded currently.

P4 keeps on ticking even in extreme heat conditions.

thanks man. . ..that took a lot of sanding over like a period of 4 days over the summer to complete. . . .then my gf and i sat at autozone for like 2 hours with the console in hand looking for the paint that matches close. . if you look up elemental59437's setup it is pretty much identical to mine as we did ours during the same time frame and drive the same car. . . .i helped him out on the carputer part and he told me how to do the lcd molding
