Sounds like a g ood setup. IMO, that is some major overkill on processor and RAM (RAM speed) and mobo too for that matter. But it is def a good setup.

might want to do your power calculations to make sure 150watt will be enough...with external DVD/CDRW and Athelon, and a HD....might be close. I'm not sure.

150 will not be enough. that cpu will eat around 80-90 watts alone depanding on cpu load

Ohh good point, I forgot about that! That proc uses around 70-80watts (A bit under, shoot high and you won't miss ) of power, so you might be over the 150w mark when you get the rest in there.. And the full-sized HDD too uses more power, as does the video and RAM, both of which I think could be cut back, but your call

You mean OPUS's can't run at max spec? Or PSU's in general? If so, that explains my random PSU death - Running a duallie and 4 HDD's and 3 CD's and a lot of fans and 4 PCI's and a GeForce4Ti on a 350wPSU

ya psu's in general don't like to be close to max.. same with ups and such. The SA before me would load the UPS's to full capacity and they died left and right when i replaced him due to that.
