  • Help!

    Hi.
New to all this, but im trying to build a simple interface to mute my head unit. Ive already got new sony head unit with the ATT link for external muting, and was really looking to see if anyone knew whether this had to be grounded to the chassis or made high to mute it. Got a little PIC microcontroller which should do the trick nicely but dont want to go frying my stereo. If this connection does have to be made high, does anyone know the voltage/current requirements. It would be the same for most head units because most bluetooth car kits have an ATT feature on them??
    Thanks
    Ben
