Spyware killer - www.microsoft.com/spyware tells you all about it and where you can download programs to remove it.
With these search bars you usually need another program called HijackThis wich can be found at www.download.com
hijackthis can be a bit complicating to use. Just open it up and click scan. Then select anything with the name of your search bar in it and clean them from your computer.

Did you try spybot and adaware first?
Copy and paste the scan log from Hijackthis into a post here and I will tell you what to get rid of.

I use Adaware and would recommend it. Windows XP SP2 does a good job at keeping some of these out so roll on August
