I'm with you dude. I don't want to have to load each one up and try it. I just need something to help with .mp3, the GPS, wifi, and my FM tuner card. No touchscreen in my case. Something that will help me keep my eyes on the road and not on the LCD when I need my computer to do something.

what are you using for an antenna? I hooked my ISA FM tuner up to the car antenna. I soldered on a new plug and it works pretty good. I'm using Radiator now but I wish someone would skin radiator it's so fugly with the brown colors.

Also using Media car, but with Delorme/Earthmate GPS. Win DVD for playback. Works pretty well but hate the fact that it won't organize playlists by album and track #.

Media car and frodoplayer as my interfaces( cant choose just 1 )
                mappoint 2004 for GPS.
                netstumbler for wifi scanning
stumbverter to add access points to my mappoint maps.
                FullscreenTV for my rearview cam.
                Various emulators for my gaming.
I have mediacar set as my shell. I have explorer as an application, so I can access registery keys to set explorer/mediacar as my shell as needed.
                FrodoDVD as my DVD player.
I also have destinator and CoPilot as GPS apps, just swap between them and mappoint.. depending on what I want to do.

Why do you guys want to always take shortcuts.. *dont want to install all etc etc*... If you made the effort of building the carputter yourself, i'm sure you can spend 20 minutes looking into software side of it. Afterall, after the install that WILL be the face of your computer.

Plus everybody has their own needs, preferences.

                  my 2 cents.
