  • Really new:) need help

    Hi
I'm going to build my own carputer but i need some help
I want to use normal atx not micro with an 300w inverter and a normal 300w psu and i want put in the middle an ups to get more stability and a little power with engine off
what you thing about that I'm crazy???
    it's not possible??
    thank you good bye

    it's all possable..

but take the money you'd spend on a UPS .and get a opus 150w or M1-ATX dc-dc PSU ..

then you have no inverter or manual switching to do..

I use the 90w m1-atx and I run a normal ATX board, 900mhz athlon, 7200rmp drive 3 pci cards and an AGP card.... and 3 USB devices..
    works fine

don't get anything fromt he PW line..

specifically the M1-ATX or OPUS .. are great, they have built in startup, shutdown ..

you turn your key and your computer starts.. and turn off the key and the computer shuts down all nice like..
