Well, the PC dampening question was on how to dampen the harddrive such that it would be more survivable in a 4x4. I found lots of stuff via the search after I put up the question. Just try some different search options, you will find it.

My other question had to do with the VGA interface for the 629. I haven’t received it in the mail yet and I wanted to make sure I ordered the right cables. After looking at the photos for a while it looked like the VGA to the monitor was supplied via USB. I didn’t so much resolve this...more like I just decided that was simply crazy and decided I would just wait for the monitor to arrive.

My last question was where I could get a longer internal ribbon cable for the 629 since I will be removing it from its case. There is one in the store but it says it is for a Xenarc 700. Again, I just decided I would wait for the monitor to see if I needed one. I’ll be “trying” to put the circuit board back where it was and just putting the whole thing in a different case (thinner case/smaller) so I may not need a new cable in the end.
