  • Trying to fix timing issues with M2

I'm sure we all know the stories of the timing issues with the M2-ATX (power signal being sent too soon). In my case they occur constantly for a few days and then stop for a few more days. I read that a small chip on the M2-ATX needs to be replaced to fix these issues, but I don't have the skill to do this. Is it possible to send it to mini-box for modification? I'm asking here first because I bought this from Armen, not mini-box. I've had problems in the past with the M2 and ended up sending it back to mini-box after getting a referral from Armen. So I wasn't sure how everyone else has done it.

If anyone could answer that question for me, I'd appreciate it. And on a side note, my 3.5" HD does not get powered up on boot all the time. This causes it to hang at the boot screen which forces me to turn the computer on and off again (sometimes it takes several tries). Is this related to the timing issues too?

    Thanks for the help.
