  • t6 replacement

I can't get the t6 from coilcraft and I'm searching for a replacement. I've tried searching the forum but the search page doesn't allow me to search fro "t6" cause the minimum length of the search word is 3 characters.
    Any ideas?

Well I am aware of two alternatives....

    http://www.rhombus-ind.com/datashts/t-1408.pdf

    and

    http://www.rencousa.com

and look for part number RL-5533

It has been stated on this forum that the Renco RL-5533 needs a modification to be equivalent to the Coil Craft Q???? (whatever the number is).... but I don't see the need based on looking at the data sheet. Looks identical to me.

yes the renco has to be modified. the pinouts are SLIGHTLY different, 2 of the pins are switched between the renco and the coilcraft... search for my thread in the power forum... "sproggy problems" the answer is there.

You could always wind your own transformer.. hmm.... might do that if I make another sproggy..
