  • 10v 1.5A Power supply?

Anyone know a quick, cheap way to get 10v @ 1.5A from my car? I have a PT6625 that I could potentially modify to output 10v, but I'm looking for another option.

I tried searching the net for one of those adjustable car DC power supplies, but I haven't found one that outputs 10v.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Alright, I'm going to help move this along. I did my due diligence and found the LM117 Regulator (PDF Datasheet). I'm not an electrician so I need some help:

    1) With the fluctuations in input voltage, will this work in a car environment?
    2) What resistors will I need to get 10v output (if possible, please identify R1 & R2)?

      1) Please read page 7 of the spec, and dropout voltage graph on page 6.
      2) Please read equation on first page of spec (and various other pages), application hints on page 8, and example circuit of high stability 10v regulator on page 15.
