Unless you can find one used, you won't be able to get one.

They are no longer being made.

I got this, and it's been great!
Got one problem though... When I turn the key, I hear the "beep" from the pc booting, and the it dies... I had to take the cable out, and manually get into the boot of my car to push "Power" on the pc...

Anyone knows what could be wrong?

              P1290 shutting down

My P1290 is going into forced shutdown 60 sec after IGN is applied.
I removed it from the vehicle and am testing on a bench supply and getting the same problem with no load.

Battery/ alt voltage good - confirmmed with a bench supply
Same problem with no load connected

              ANY IDEAS?
              Firmware?
              Internal short?

              Details:
              P1290 V1.0.0

              Led Sequence:
-Power on firmware flashes ok -Firmware vers 2.3
-left led flashes a few times then solid
              -right led solid
-both leds are solid for 60 sec
-left led 12 fast flashes then supply makes small chirp right led goes out ( output drops to 0v )
-left led flashes fast and right led slow
-left led flashes fast and right led solid
