please could someone help me out with this, i'm tearing my hair out!!

i am running a MS-6760 mobo with a 478 P4 2.8Ghz. connected up my M2-ATX supply but when the ignition is activated the PC doesn't start. The BIOS chip fan starts up and the power LED too.

I have the AUX P4 connector wired up correctly and the PSU works fine as I tested it in my mates AMD rig.

Is there something I am missing? I have all the same connectors from my ATX plugged in, as I do from the M2-ATX. I just can't see the problem?!

You are probably drawing more power than the M2 can supply with the Intel system.
    A Northwood P4 draws nearly 70w and a Prescott nearly 90w.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Thanks for the reply, greatly appreciated. I have tested it with no peripherals attached at all. I get nothing.
