I ordered one of these so I can use my PC for XM while the kids watch videos on a 24 hour road trip I have coming up. I want to hardwire it in. How should I power it. I've seen reference on a couple forums that it is 12v 3a I believe. Radio Shack has a DC to DC but it is only 2a at 12v.

sorry if this is the wrong place to ask the question. I searched an found no reference. Seems like a poor mans video/mp3 automotive player. It does 90% of what I use my PC for day to day.

It was simple. Once I got the player it was only 12v 1.5a, $15 at radio shack for a dc to dc converter. This thing works great. Very easy for the kids to operate.
