  • A really, dumb basic question: attaching more than one device to PSU output.

Currently having a brain cramp....appreciate the help

If I have a power supply that has, let's say, one 12v output on it. Am I supposed to attach just one 12v device to it, or can I attach more than 1 (for example, by attaching the 12v line from LCD plus 12v line from HD Radio all to the one PSU +12v power output) as long as I don't exceed the max Amps of the PSU? Or am I going to fry something?

Thinking about ignition line in car as a proximite equivalent (many things hooked up to that) it should be fine to attach multiple, right?

Maybe coffee will help...in the meantime - thanks for your feedback.

yup. as long as you do not exceed the maximum current draw of the line, you will be fine.
