  • M2-ATX 160W Intelligent DC-DC PSU vs opus 180w psu

i was wondering the difference between the opus 180w psu vs the M2-ATX 160W Intelligent DC-DC PSU? other then a few watts more. I have an opus 180psu, but have an issue with the remote wire. because the psu is design to go to ground which wont turn my amps on. does the m2-atx160 psu have these types of issues? also why is the m2-atx 160w so much lower price than the opus? also does anyone else use opus psu that has issues?

okay, I talked to opus today and they said the issues i was having with the 180w psu remote wire was because the one i have is not design to use for audio. because the remote wire switches to ground, which I need a positive 12v to turn the amps on. I tried the relay way to reverse to ground but didnt work. so i might have to send it back to them so they can reprogram psu. All the newer 180wpsu of 2010 and now are positive 12v, you just have to tell them when you order them that your going to use it in a car audio system application. Also as far as the price, opus said their psu has better parts, last longer and you get support. you get what you pay for. so, the remote wire issue is finally solved.
