  • What could be wrong with my OPUS 320?

Decided to test out my OPUS 320, but its acting up. It starts up the PC, then after a few seconds, shuts it down, then boots it back up. This cycle happens until I finally disconnect power. What does this mean? What would cause that? If the OPUS doesnt have enough power, it wouldnt come on at all would it?

Give Opus a call. I've called them a couple of times about my Opus 120W, and they're always happy to talk to you.

I reordered the cable from the Mobo to the Opus, and the cable from the OPUS to the devices.

Is everything functioning properly using a standard power supply?

I called OPUS and they asked the same question. I bench tested the PC with a 300 watt PSU and it worked flawlesly. I then connected the OPUS and it keeps rebooting. I called them and they think it may be a wiring issue. I had heavily modded the cables to use on my old car PC, and then tried to rerig it to work with the new. That was my mistake. Also the tech (Kris) said that DC-DC work different then AC-DC PSU. So if I wired it different, it may be to much of a drastic change for the MoBo.

PS: He also mentioned that my unit may be under warranty still, so if its the OPUS, they will fix it.
