        why ?

sorry if i am missing something, but why do you need that ? is it to run the pc in the house ? or in the car ?

if it was to run it in the house, wouldnt it be easier to leave the opus in the car, unplug it and then plug in the carputer with a normal ac /dc atx power supply, would save a lot of money as well

Personally this solution is nice to me because I hate to have to open up the case and unplug all of those wires. I know it's not many, but I rather not have to do it at all. And before I get 802.11b going, I'll be transporting it back and forth often.

IG how much are you seeing this for? When I googled it, I could only find $80 and up versions. Its not worth paying that much, esp after paying $190 for the opus.

An AT power supply out of an old computer will work too, you should be able to find one a very low cost or even free in the trash.
