  • 12V to 9V/5V

    What do you use to regulate current from 12V(car battery...) to 9V and 5V??
    I need 5V for a USB hub and 9V for a VGA dublicator!!!!

        or you could get daring and try some 7809's for your nine volts and 7805's for the five volts DC

          I don't want to use 5V from my Opus because I don't know if it can handle it!!!
          Those from radioshack are good enough but only 1A

            A USB hub could use up to 2.2Amps.... How can I solve this problem by using the above adaptors or something else??

              If you can open the hub and do a little hacking, I guess you could cut off the +V from the output ports and connect one 7805 to each port!
