  • Opus wont shutdown properley, Help!

    Hi i have wired up my 150w opus as it should be but my it doesnt shut down my pc, i have wired red wire to the back of the acc on my tape, and ground to battery and yellow to battery 12v. So why doesnt it shut down properly, i have a msi mega 651 pc and it support S3 so why doesnt it switch of properely please help me. Also recently my computer doesnt go past the startup screen when it searches for my IDE devices?

    looks like you have the wires around the wrong way.
    The Red should go the +12 of the battery and the Yellow goes to the ACC on your tape.

        yup thats right

        to verify you could look at the manual. Its posted in the mp3car store area under the power supply section.
        I wish i knew how to do fiberglass work...

            ok thanks for the fast responses, very appreciated, but any suggestion about the boot up problem, it wont got past the MEGA screen that normally comes up and after a whiles it says disk boot failure insert disk and press enter, Even though it does detect the hard drive which is the primary boot device and is the primary shown on the start up screen, help?

              What kind of HDD do you have?

                Its a 3.5 inch hd, and a maxtor i think. I moved it to the secondary IDE channel and it booted up? whys this that it wont work on the primary?

                  Make sure both IDE controllers are on in BIOS.
