mashina, you should have done a little browsing or searching. The answer was in one of the top 3 threads in this forum:

use the online power calculator at http://www.thecarpcstore.com/link.ht...alculator.html to figure out your wattage requirements.

Then browse some of the power supplies mentioned and in the store. If you still have questions, search for a bit, then ask if you still haven't found the answer you are looking for.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not flaming you or anything, just asking you to do a decent amount of searching first

See this thread on surviving crank:

And as for why a shutdown controller?
              1) life is easier when you don't have to wait for the pc to shutdown everytime you go to get out of the car at the store/movies/etc.
              2) To make sure your battery isn't dead because you forgot to shut off something.
              3) To help prevent the thump that occurs in the amps from turning on the pc.
              4) To help prevent hard drive data corruption by preventing the pc from running in extreme temperatures (high or low).

                mashina,
you need to describe your system in order for us to help advise you better. How much power do you need? What mobo/processor/accessories are you using?
