  • PW70A (Blown) Some help please

    Hey

I was messing around on the weekend and ended up touching my 12V line to ground and blew the power supply. Does anyone know the schmatics on this thing. So i can replace componets instead of buying a new one.

If not I am just going to buy and Opus.

    Thanks
    Gord

There also may be a surface mount fuse. The PW-60 units have a fuse that blows if you do just that sort of thing. It is close to the power connector on the PSU; and this is just an assumption, but the PW-70A may also have one.

Yes I know about the fuse but that is on the input
I touched the +12V on the output.

          I solved the problem

On the PW70A there are 3 fuses
          1 on the incoming 12 V line

The one I blew was F3 I guess it is hooked up to the output line

Im guessing the 3rd on is on the 5V line
