  • Constant 12volt feed

I know that when the car is ticking over the system is running at 14.4volt and when the car cranks it drops a lot lower in voltage.

Is it possible to find a constant 12volt electrical feed inside a car?

Yes if you fit a Opus, Carnetix or similar PSU. That's the reason why people use them.

the Carnetix is the usual bit you need for a computer's that have a 12V DC-DC PSU built in.
