  • Vehicle Point Of Load in my car?

I have bought the Vehicle Point Of Load DC-DC Converter. But I'm woundering.. Doesn't it work in my car with my lilliput touchscreen?

I read in the specs that "the input voltage must be greather than the output voltage". That means that I can't use it with my battery(12volt) to my lilliput touchscreen(12volt)?
Note: My english-skills aren't the best...

I'm currently using one for my dvd-rom. The trick to it is that your car battery can be 13volts but its normally not a constant 13volts, therefore the psu will work until it drops to 12 volts or below and then the screen will turn off.

            Doesn't the dvd-rom require 12v to?

EsKALad I keep it anyway.. it might come in handy.

Edit: From where do you power your screens? From the power supplies? Can a opus 150W "feed" both a pc and a screen?

Someone who power it from the cigarette-output?

              A DVD Rom requires 5V.
Power the screen from the MB 12V rail.
On the Xenarcs you can power the screen from the cars 12V, But I use the cig adaptor with it.
