I am looking into buying a PS DC-DC from arise.
They one they suggested (mpd-7061S or something) has AT connectors, but doesn't seem to have a -5V only +5, +12 and -12 are listed and there amperage given, but no -5!
And, those mini Powersupplys, do they fit in a standard AT PS space? or do I put them outside the case?
cause the one I am looking into is only 75$, and the cheapest Case looking one is 150$.
And, the one I talked about above, does anyone have it, what was your experience like, and how hard was it to install?
Does AT connectors come built on it?
    Thanks

first off, if ur MB is AT style or a combination of ATX/AT then get the ARISE ace-865v. For more information if u really think this wont power up ur box, then go take a good look at my setup. I think that will convince you to get it.

Most of your links in your sig don't work, is this just network problems?

            Thanks Cenwesi,
I was looking into that one.
            Stupid Question though,
what happens when your rev the engine or something, and it goes above 16volts, or after you start the engine and is surges to 300volts or something, will these not burn up or anything?
And, wouldn't I be better with the MPD-whatever one since it goes from 10 to 30 volts? and has higher amperage,
but, I am only powering a p120 with a 1 gig HD, and a CDrom, and possibly a LCD display.
Will the one you suggested be enough?
            Thanks man,
All, BTW, would anyone be interested in buying a Portawatz 600?
Since I am getting this to get rid of it.
It no longer has a working switch, since I ran it to my dash, so its just two wires sticking out the front the have to have a small toggle switch put on them.
I would want 70$ since they are worth 149$ (I got mine on discount though since it was the last in stock.)
Just askin, cause my dad said he might want it to power a small ceramic heater for his truck, cause it has sucky heat in the winter.

I just put a 5A fuse on the posetive cable going to my DC-DC psu. I figure it was rated at 7 amps max so the only thing that can go out is the fuse.
