  • dc-dc hookup?

ok, i have bad noise comming from my inverter. I've tried using a direct power connection to it. didn't solve anything. tried using a good ground. didn't solve anything. Disconnected cord from sound card still lots of noise. (how is that even possible).......wtf....... would a dc to dc converter change all of this. cuz now i'm going from dc to ac then to dc again. and i think the inverter is giving me a **** load of nosie!!!

    wtf should i do.

The noise is only present when the inverter is switched on, right? If yes, then a DC-DC should take care of it. A cheaper alternative might be to use a noise filter (like this one. This helped me when I was using an inverter, but once I switched to DC-DC the noise went away.
