  • M1 Power Supply Ignition line


    Does anyone know if the igintion line for the M1 PSU actually needs to draw any power or is it just a signaling line?

    I'm going to connect + and - to the battery via a 10A fuse and possibly the ignition ine to the cigeratte lighter (if it is only used as a on / off signal for the M1).

    Does that sound reasonable?

    signal line only.

    and you should read some of the FAQ's on power wiring, etc... for instance, instead of running a ground wire to the - terminal of the battery, it's better if you ground the power supply to a nearby point on the chassis instead.
