  • M2-Atx and additional power items like usb and cd

I'm getting ready to wire up my m2-atx. It only has two molex connectors that i would splice for 12v. How do I add more items? I have a dvd drive, a external hd case and a powered usb port device that need to be powered by 12v. Can i use molex "y" splitters? How many? Any help is defintely appreciated. I'm not sure how to power up all these things.

Yes, you can use molex Y-splitters.
How many is dependent on how much power the devices draw. You can't overload your PSU, or the whole system will not function.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

ok - I'll have to figure it out then I suppose. I suppose that I can just cut the molex and use the yellow to 12v and black to ground correct? Then connect those two to the 12v and ground of the power wire of the device.

      I'll search more on that...

Yep, you have to use voltmeter to be sure a right polarity of wires.
        Have a good luck!
