  • OPUS150 causes computer not to boot, but will on AC

Ok, i bout the opus 150 from the mp3 store, i hooke it all up to my computer, and it runs through post with no problem, but when it comes to booting into windows, it doesnt even show the boot screen, if i try the windows disk, it checks for RAID the freezes, if i take the opus out and put the AC back in, it boots right into windows with no problems, 150 is ample for this computer, i suspect it only draws 120 if that, i checked the output voltages, all are within limits...any ideas guys?...

        mobo is "a mini ATI"?
ATI is a company that makes graphics cards that recently got bought by AMD (a company that makes processors).

It's probably just a typo, but some clarification would help.

I'm certain that you're drawing more than the Opus can put out. It's just a matter of pinpointing what component is pushing you over the edge.
